Designing for medical professionals presents new challenges and opportunities. Doctors are trained to examine all outcomes and after considerable review, they proceed with the best course of treatment. Designers like to experiment with different concepts and ideas and find a unique solution that fits the message and connects with a target audience. We offered several design options and then created a workshop where the Medical Director and the Marketing Director joined us with scissors and paper, to cut out shapes and select colors. The union of our efforts resulted in the foundation for a new logo and brand identity.
Doctors, like designers, utilize research. Our method of design includes a comprehensive review of competitors, industry standards, and an analysis of consumer profiles. Once we understand the market and the audience, we can design a distinctive mark and build a website that delivers key content to patients and prospects.
“The team at Langton Creative realized we were embarking on an ambitious project that didn’t end with the creation of a website — as a result, we have a digital property that will serve as the foundation of our future growth.”

We studied health care industry reports and identified content that is relevant to target healthcare consumers. The website organization was written, designed and developed to reach the key audiences for cardiovascular care in the New York market.
Dr. Ghalchi’s experience and research indicated that many cardiovascular patients wanted more personalized attention from their health providers. The logo features a heart rising from an abstract “M” to reflect both the cardiovascular care and the personal care provided to each patient.
The Medical Director and the Marketing Director joined us with scissors and paper, to cut out shapes and select colors. The union of our efforts resulted in the foundation for a new logo and brand identity. Here are examples of the “cut-out” logos from our logo workshop.
The Brand Guidebook established the brand tone and style with a playbook the includes standards for messaging, typography, color, and placement that allows a small marketing staff to build a professional brand and increase the ROI of the design work.
