The Peace symbol has served under public domain for the past 5 decades.
2008 is the year the Peace Symbol turns 50 and while its trend in fashion may have faded (hopefully not for long), it still stands as the most ubiquitous icon of peace to ever exist. Originally designed by Gerald Holtom for the Campaign For Nuclear Dissarment, the Peace symbol has served under public domain for the past 5 decades. It has soldiered through civil rights movements, wars, and political and social crisis's, always carrying the same message of harmony.
